Retail veteran Salome Christian has been named the new general manager of Saks Fifth Avenue – St. Louis at Plaza Frontenac.
Christian, who began her career at Saks in 2013 in Atlanta, later took roles at Saks in Greenwich, Connecticut, and at its flagship store in New York. Prior to joining Saks, she had 19 years of previous retail experience, including as a general manager of Belk Department Store in several cities.
In addition to her role at Saks, Christian looks forward to supporting the St. Louis community. She has served on a number of charitable boards such as Atlanta’s Women Leadership Network, and continues to serve on the Atlanta chapter of SOS Children’s Villages, a global federation working to protect and care for children who have lost or who are at risk of losing parental care.
Christian begins her role as GM at Saks Fifth Avenue – St. Louis at Plaza Frontenac effective immediately.
