St. Louis-grown talent will be front and center during this year’s virtual Fair Saint Louis celebration.
Dubbed “Fair Saint Louis @Home,” the streamed online performance will be on Saturday, July 4, beginning at 10 a.m. The annual celebration at the Gateway Arch, touted as America’s largest birthday party, has been cancelled this year due to the global pandemic.
“Every year since 1981, we’ve provided the St. Louis community a Fourth of July celebration – and despite not being able to be with you at the Gateway Arch this year, we are committed to celebrating our city and the people who make it great,” said David Estes, general chairman of Fair Saint Louis.
Headliners for Fair Saint Louis @Home include hip-hop artist Chingy, blues musician Little Dylan and The Little Dylan Band, and country music singers Alexandra Ray and Jordan Suter.
On July 4, viewers can tune in via Fair Saint Louis’ Facebook page or at fairsaintlouis.org to stream the virtual program. Other performers include previous Fair Saint Louis acts like Jake’s Leg and Juggling Jeff. Surprise celebrity appearances, other variety acts, and a salute to service members and essential workers are also planned.
