In response to the latest COVID-19 surge, The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis says it will delay its upcoming production of “The 39 Steps.”
“The 39 Steps” was set to premiere at the Loretto-Hilton Center Jan. 21, but will now shift to the final slot of the season, from March 18 to April 10.
The move was made after “consulting with medical professionals and in response to the rising COVID-19 rates,” according to the announcement.
Previews for “The 39 Steps” start March 18, with Opening Night planned for March 25. “House of Joy,” originally scheduled to run during these dates, will now move to the 2022-2023 season. The Rep production of “Stick Fly” at COCA’s Berges Theatre is scheduled to begin as planned on Feb. 11.
Ticketholders for “The 39 Steps” will be notified of the change, with their tickets automatically transferred to the new show dates. For more information, visit The Rep’s website.
