The South Grand Dine Around takes place next month, with a plethora of restaurants and bars to sip and sample your way along South St. Louis’ international corridor.
The area, known for its diversity, independent storefronts and pedestrian-friendly sidewalks, is a recipient of the Great Street Award from the state of Missouri. The corridor, from Utah Place North to Arsenal Street, is considered the most diverse, as well as the most concentrated population, in the St. Louis region.
The South Grand Dine Around, from 5 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, is a restaurant crawl that will feature menu offerings from establishments along South Grand Boulevard.
Participating eateries include Basil India, Brasilia, Gelateria Coffee Co., LemonGrass, Meskerem, Padrinos, Pizza Head, Snō, Steve’s Hot Dogs, Taste of Persia, Terror Tacos and Wei Hong Bakery and BBQ. In all, participating restaurants represent cuisine from 14 countries within five blocks.
Ticket books are $30 person ($35 on the day of the event) and can be picked up and/or purchased at Ritz Park, located between Steve’s Hot Dogs and King and I Restaurant at 3147 S. Grand Blvd. Each book contains five tickets to use for any combination of small plates, desserts and drinks.
